world collapses
around me.
fear of losing
unveiled
I hope you
will love me
be the wind
inflate my sails
waves will rise
try and drown me.
boat deluged–water
shattered by the rocks
I hope you
will love me
be the strength
fill my heart
friends I trust
abandon
bridges I built
descend.
I hope you
will love me
never let me bend
images of life
uncoil before my eyes
final flurries
start to land
don’t show and tell
you love me
just be there in the end
